Catching Made Simple
Three sessions a week, about thirty minutes each. Film an example video every session. That is the whole program. Here is what each week looks like, and what to do with everything else in your library.
If you only ever do the level work, you are doing this right. Reps on your current level until it is clean, then film it and send it. Everything else in the library is there to support that, not to compete with it.
The loop
Everything in the Complete Catcher Protocol is this one cycle, repeated. Once you can see it, nothing else in your library is confusing.
Mini missions are the return throw: coaching comes back, you go again, and the blue arrow only fires when the standard is met. Watch the ball take one full lap before it stamps.
The cadence
Three sessions, about thirty minutes each. Pick any three days that fit around games and school. That is the whole commitment.
SESSION 1
Starts the loop.
SESSION 2
This is where the fixing happens.
SESSION 3
We repeat this loop over and over as you pass sub-levels.
Plus one group call a month, required. The catchers who grow fastest come to more than that. Training at home is still the main thing, but the calls accelerate it. If something is not clicking, ask and we will work on it live in the call.
Optional routine add ons
Neither of these is required and neither is homework. They make the thirty minutes work better if you have the time and the interest.
10 min, before you start
Loosens the hips so your catcher can actually get into the stances we are asking for. It is a warm-up, not a course, so there is nothing to finish and nothing to fall behind on.
20 to 30 min, before or after
An at home program built around a kettlebell and a med ball, three times a week. Best for catchers who are already consistent with the loop and want more.
The bench
Your Mini Mission is the homework. Everything below is not. These come off the bench when there is a reason. If nothing here matches your week, close the tab and go do your level reps.
When you want more reps
Extra volume on days you are not filming. Use it if your catcher is hungry and wants to do more, not because you are behind.
When you hit one specific wall
Blocking, Receiving, Throwing, Stances, Mindset. Open the one that matches the thing that is actually going wrong. One at a time, never all at once.
The check
Six belts, thirty rungs. Every week you repeat above moves you along it. Here is the whole ladder.
Repetition is the program, not a sign you are behind. Most catchers pass a level in about three weeks of this, and the ones who move fastest are the ones who did the boring reps on 1.1 and 1.2 first. If you are ever unsure what to do on a given day, the answer is your current level. Ask in the group any time and we will point you at the one thing worth adding.
